Who we are
HiddenHelp is an independent support and savings website designed to help people find social tariffs, bill support, National Help, discounts, grants, guides and calmer next steps.
What information you may enter
HiddenHelp tools may ask you to choose support needs, bill types, support needs, providers, optional bill costs and checklist progress. This is used to show more relevant support routes.
Most support-plan and bill-tracker information is designed to save in your own browser. This means it should stay on your device/browser unless you choose to copy, print, share, or enter it on an external site.
What not to enter
Please do not enter full bank details, passwords, full medical records, National Insurance numbers, full benefit claim documents, or anything you would not want saved in your browser.
Why information is used
- To build a support plan based on your choices.
- To show relevant guides, support routes, documents, scripts and discounts.
- To save or reload progress on your own device.
- To improve HiddenHelp’s layout, accessibility and usefulness.
- To understand which pages are helpful, confusing or not working properly.
External websites
If you click a provider, council, charity, government, comparison, affiliate or support link, you leave HiddenHelp. Their own privacy policy, cookie policy and terms apply.
Cookies and consent
Cookies and similar technologies can help a website work, remember preferences, measure usage and improve services.
Essential saved settings
HiddenHelp may use essential browser storage to remember things like a saved plan, bill tracker entries, checklist ticks, dyslexia-friendly mode and cookie choices. This helps the tools work and lets you return later without starting again.
Optional analytics cookies
HiddenHelp may use optional analytics tools, such as Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, to understand page visits, clicks, scrolling, mobile layout issues, broken buttons and confusing sections.
Your choice
Optional analytics should only run after you choose “Accept analytics” on the cookie banner. You can reject optional analytics and still use the main HiddenHelp tools.
You can use the Cookie settings button on this page to reset your choice and show the banner again.
Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and website improvement
HiddenHelp may use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity after consent to understand how people use the site and how to make it calmer and easier to use.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics may help us understand page visits, device types, referral sources, popular pages and where people leave the site.
Microsoft Clarity
Microsoft Clarity may help us understand clicks, scrolling, heatmaps and session replay-style behaviour. This is used to find confusing layouts, broken buttons, awkward mobile sections and accessibility issues.
What these tools may collect
These tools may collect technical and usage information such as page views, clicks, scrolling, approximate location, device type, browser type, referral source, cookies or similar identifiers.
What we try not to send
We do not intentionally send sensitive support-plan details, benefit details, bill details or personal notes to Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity. You should still avoid typing sensitive information into places that are not needed.
Saved plans and bill tracker information
Some HiddenHelp tools save progress on your own device/browser. This may include support-plan choices, bill-tracker entries, checklist ticks and accessibility preferences.
What this means
- If you clear browser data, saved information may disappear.
- If you use a different device or browser, your saved plan may not appear.
- Anyone using the same device/browser may be able to see saved information.
- Saved plans are not a secure vault for sensitive documents.
Privacy tip
If you are on a shared device, avoid saving sensitive details. Use the print/copy options carefully and clear browser data if needed.
Affiliate Disclosure
Some links on HiddenHelp may be affiliate links. This means HiddenHelp may earn a commission if you click a link and buy, switch, sign up or complete an action.
What this means for you
- You should not pay extra because a link is an affiliate link.
- Affiliate income may help keep HiddenHelp free to use.
- Affiliate, sponsored or paid-placement links should be labelled clearly where they appear.
- Commercial links should not be treated as personal financial advice.
Support and deals
HiddenHelp may show official support routes, councils, charities, social tariffs, hardship schemes, grants and support pages alongside commercial deals. You should always check terms, eligibility and suitability directly before applying or buying.

We try to keep links and guidance useful, but support schemes, prices, grants, eligibility rules and provider pages can change. Always check the final details directly with the relevant organisation.

Bill Support Tracker: bill names, amounts, providers, dates and notes are designed to stay in your own browser in your own browser. They are not an account and are not uploaded by HiddenHelp.

Opening times, eligibility, funding and sessions can change quickly, so always check the official provider before travelling or relying on support.
External links: HiddenHelp links to councils, charities, providers and public organisations where possible. A link does not mean HiddenHelp controls that service, guarantees availability, or receives money from it.
Affiliate or savings links: Helpful Savings should never replace official support routes. If a free support option is likely to be better, HiddenHelp should show that first.
Emergencies: HiddenHelp is not an emergency service. If someone is at immediate risk, use emergency services or urgent local support routes.
