Saved support plan: come back to your bill help later
How to use the device-local Support Plan as a small action list, preserve useful notes and avoid turning it into another overwhelming case file.
Last reviewed: 6 July 2026 · UK guidance
In brief
The Support Plan keeps selected HiddenHelp cards, notes, status and follow-up information in the browser. It is designed for returning to a few chosen actions rather than storing every piece of personal evidence.
Because storage is device-local, information can be lost if browser data is cleared or a different device is used. Print or export only when needed and protect the file after doing so.
Save only routes you intend to use
Choose the first priority and a small number of related actions. Remove duplicates and cards that no longer fit. The plan should answer “what is next?” rather than preserve every search result.
Write minimal notes
Record the date, team, reference, outcome and next date. Avoid passwords, full bank information, detailed medical history or copies of identity documents.
Use statuses consistently
Mark not started, contacted, waiting or complete in a way that makes sense to the household. Add a follow-up date where an organisation promised a reply.
Print or export safely
Review the contents before sharing, remove unrelated notes and send through a secure agreed route. Store downloaded files somewhere private and delete obsolete copies.
A five-line outcome note
Use after every contact.
Contacted: [organisation/team] Date: [date] Outcome: [one sentence] Waiting for: [action] Follow up: [date and method]
A practical checklist
- Keep only active useful routes.
- Use minimal non-sensitive notes.
- Add a clear status and follow-up.
- Review before printing or sharing.
